“I am interested in the seemingly everyday life and the narrative is central in my work – telling stories and listening to other's. My images are like short stories, or scenes from a theatre play without an ending. I am a collector; of words, memories, overheard conversations, human destinies, a pine tree bent by the wind, a sad color of the sea. The large things in life, and the small, everything and nothing. The small things that can become the most valuable, the great things that can end up as nothing. It's a very unruly collection that I try to keep under control with the stitches.”
